About Color Telangana 2008!
We’d like to Thank each one of you who have directly or indirectly, participated or contributed for ‘For Telangana… Forever !” photo campaign and took it to where it is with your die hard cooperation & participation. We’d now like to request you to join our next campaign ‘Color Telangana 2008‘.

What is ‘Color Telangana 2008’ !
This is a new phase as part of ‘For Telangana… Forever !” Photo campaign also called CT8 , an art competition, where participants of all age groups, from all over the world can participate.
We’ll announce the cash prizes & consolation prizes (T-shirts, mugs, greeting cards made with the winning art works) to the winners after the competition ends. Winners will be chosen by a panel of Judges & also based on online Viewer voting / reviews.

Entry Procedure !
It’s easy
- Download a Black & White template by clicking here.
- Color the picture using your imagination or adapt the image to create new art work on the whole. Click here for some samples
- Submit your works by
- Scan the image & email it to us (for.telangana.forever[at]gmail.com) in JPEG, PDF, TIFF, GIF, BMP formats
- Or post them to one of the addresses mentioned below

Entry Deadline !
- The campaign will start on the eve of Sept 17th
- The campaign will end on Deepavali (28 Oct 2008) ; Extended up to 31st December 2008.

Prizes !
- First Prize : $150 USD plus a surprise gift
- Second Prize : $100 USD plus a surprise gift
- Third Prize : $50 USD plus a surprise gift
- And many more Consolation prizes

Who is eligible?
No restrictions whatsoever! Kids, grown ups, professional, closet artists, teachers and students. Anybody and everybody are encouraged to enter and it would be highly appreciated if you can spread the word to your friends and dear ones. There is no limit on the number of entries per person.

WHY conduct this event?
To involve more youngsters in this creative event & bring awareness about Telangana, it’s Arts, Culture & History in the process!

What else can you do?
- It will really boost the project if any interested / dedicated school teachers can conduct this competition in their respective schools (at least on a small scale, Click here for some samples) and submit their works as whole to us (to the addresses mentioned below). Look out for the ADs in your local / District Newspapers.
- If you’re conducting Bathukamma Celebrations in your city. You can also print a Bathukamma picture (not eligible for the contest) (Bathukamma Template 2) along with the ‘Color Telangana 2008′ picture (eligible for contest) for the kids attending the event. It will engage the kids creatively while you’re conducting the event or baby sitting them.
- All participants are highly encouraged to choose an artistic technique of their own choice such as drawing, painting (oil, water, acrylic), sketching, collage (paper, cloth sewing), mixed media etc. Think big and bold! Get your creative juices flowing and challenge yourself to come up with an artistic solution. We are very confident that there is no dearth of imagination among each one of you. We would in fact be more than happy to see your entries widen our creative horizon.
- Volunteer : You can volunteer to print ‘Color Telangana 2008′ template (eligible for contest) and distribute it to your creative friends who would be interested.

How will I know if I’ve won?
Winners will be notified by e-mail in the first week of Nov 2008 and the award-winning works will be posted on websites http://discover-telangana.org and http://4ever.discover-telangana.org . make sure you furnish all your personal details
